The surgical procedures are performed in a private physician environment and counselors are only present if the patient requests. We will also allow a friend or family member in the operating room with the patient during procedures for further comfort and support.

Abortion Pill
The abortion pill is a medicine that ends an early pregnancy. In general, it can be used up to 63 days — 9 weeks — after the first day of a woman’s last period. Women who need an abortion and are more than 9 weeks pregnant can have an in-clinic abortion.
Performed prior to a missed-period. By some definitions this is not considered a termination of pregnancy. Usually performed from a week prior to your expected menstrual period to a week after a missed period. The duration of the procedure is about one minute and with only minor discomfort expected.
Menstrual Regulation
1st Trimester Abortions
This procedure is performed by vacuum aspiration in the first three months of pregnancy. The duration of the procedure is 2-3 minutes and most patients report only mild cramping and discomfort.
2nd Trimester Abortions
This procedure is done up to the 20th week of gestation. The procedure requires two visits to the clinic. At the first visit a special natural laminaria (seaweed stick) is inserted into the cervix. The patient needs to return the next day for the actual procedure. This takes 5-7 minutes.
We offer a variety of methods for pain management during the procedure and the recovery period. All of the standard medications administered during the procedures are included in the basic fees. Local anesthesia, analgesia, sedation and anxiety relief are offered to each patient.

If you are under the age of 18, the State of Michigan requires that you obtain a written parental consent or a judicial bypass before we can perform your abortion. We can help you in obtaining the judicial bypass completely free.

Our doctor is a Fellow of the American College of OB/GYN. Over the last 24 years he treated women with every obstetrical and gynecological conditions including venereal disease, obstetrical disease and cancer.
Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and with special training in FAMILY PLANNING, LASER, INFERTILITY, CERVICAL CANCER AND ABORTIONS.
Graduated from Sackler Medical School in Tel Aviv, Israel and completed his residency at Sinai Hospital of Detroit, Michigan, he is also a fellow in the American College of OB/GYN who has devoted large amounts of time to research related to prostaglandine, N-YAG laser, and their applications to termination of pregnancy, as well as, the relation of high risk pregnancy, the placenta and low APGAR score.
Over his years of medical practice he has performed tens of thousands of deliveries, performed tens of thousands of gynecological surgeries and was a family planning consultant to several hospitals.
He is affiliated with several hospitals in the Detroit metro area.
